Spacing has long been a supporter of Canada’s historic sites in our large urban centres. 200 years ago, our country was forever changed during the War of 1812 with the United States.

Today, we announce the release of a commemorative set of 12 fridge magnets (1.5-inches in diameter) that celebrate the 200 years of peace between our two nations. The magnet set is made up of illustrations that depict the numerous military uniforms worn by the people who defended our citiesĀ  and country. Also included are illustrations of the HMS Shannon, a lonesome British redcoat, a 19th Light Dragoon member of the cavalier, and a cheeky British soldier roasting a marshmellow over burning White House.

The set sells for $25 (includes shipping) or you can purchase individual magnets ($4 each, includes shipping). The magnets are perfect for the Canadian history buff, historical military enthusiast, or collector or all things War of 1812.
