An extension of Toronto-based Spacing editor Shawn Micallef‘s “Instaflaneur” series — posts of Instagram photos of city travels —  we’ll post a few over time from his recent visits to Halifax & Atlantic Canada.

In Halifax industry and residential rub up against each other in some fairly dramatic ways, something we had more of in our Canadian cities, but with so much gentrification, there are few examples of it as stunning as here on Mitchell Street. If Bruce Springsteen was from Canada, he’d have a song about this place.
