Riding my bike home one morning, around 7AM, I came upon this dude taking advantage of the late August moving day purge. This is the alleyway just west of Clark, and that’s Duluth you see right there. 
As of this writing, all that stuff is gone. But the dude is around. I see him every once in a while.

Funny funny.
I’m guessing it’s probably a lot less funny funny if you’re him.
S’true, that it might not be charming to sleep outside on a cast-off sofabed. But at the same time, I can also imagine that perhaps, the night before, when he found it, he thought, “Score!”
It’s difficult to say. I didn’t want to wake him up to ask.
well, yeah.. i live around there too, and I saw him..
though, when i saw him one morning…chilling out, reading the newspaper, relaxing on that couch i thought:
“I fucking envy him…” It made me think about the decitions i’ve been taking the last month: working, studying, going here, going there,…shit, this dude is just sitting there, enjoying life (well, i do enjoy my life) but at that moment i just wanted to be him…and say “fuck this” im going to find myself a nice couch in some alley and live there.
Not so much fun in January!
