Urban Planet: Detroit’s Packard plant

The video tells the story of Detroit’s Packard plant. The hundred-year-old building once produced luxury vehicles, but now it sits crumbling, emblematic of America’s rust belt. In this poetic look back on a time of prosperity lost, through haunting visuals of crumbling brickwork, we are reminded of how fragile our cities are.
