After a near record daily snowfall over the weekend, Ottawa’s Central Experimental Farm as been transformed into a frozen tundra, complete with snowdrifts. According to the farms site:

“Canada is the only country to have a working farm in the heart of its capital: the Central Experimental Farm, established in 1886 as the central research station for the federal Department of Agriculture… More than an active research centre and home to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada headquarters, the Central Experimental Farm is a 400-hectare National Historic Site and a taste of rural Canada. The Farm and some of its attractions are open to the public throughout the year.”

Including cycling paths, volleyball courts, and walking trails, the Experimental Farm is always buzzing with activity, save for when its frozen.
