Happy BikeFriday my fellow velo-istas!

As usual, the bike-friendly folks at Alternative Grounds will be giving free in-house coffee to cyclists. According to our Facebook group seven people will be showing up for the ride. I will not be doing the commute myself this time. Grassroots will also be hosting their biker’s breakfast — this month, at the Annex location. Check the BikeFriday events page for complete info.

And, if you want a laugh you can see one of my BikeFriday commutes in action on Youtube. I finally uploaded the bit that MTVLive did. Thanks again to all who showed up. It was a lot of fun.

Friday evening I will be riding in Critical Mask and attending a highly-anticipated film about Critical Mass in Vancouver.

The Toronto premier of You Never Bike Alone will screen at Innis College Town Hall at 9:30 p.m.

The film is being shown by the Planet in Focus Film Festival. Tickets are $10 adults, $8 students/seniors, $5 children under 12. You can view the trailer here.

Producers Robert Alstead and Joanna Clarke will be in attendance. They will also ride with us in mass. I look forward to meeting them both and seeing the film.

If you want to see short films of Toronto’s Critical Mass (and others around the world) check out torontocranks.com or bikelanediary.blogspot.com.
