What: The Riverdale Historical Society presents a conversation with Jennifer Bonnell, author of Reclaiming the Don. will discuss the ways the Lower Don River was understood as a dangerous and problematic place by nineteenth-century Torontonians, and the schemes that civic politicians and engineers devised–some implemented and some abandoned–to deal with what was commonly understood as “the Don problem.”
