Call for Qualifications Denver International Airport, DEN Art Committee
Budget: Approximately $200,000 USD
Deadline for submitting portfolios: May 31st, 5pm MST
This call seeks qualifications of an artist or team of artists in order to commission an exterior work of art for the north wall of the T1 Roadway and bus station for the new South Terminal Redevelopment Program.
The DEN Art Committee has recommended artwork that will give color and /or luminosity to a 400 – foot long masonry block wall on the north side of the bus drop – off area. Materials should be durable, easy to clean and maintain and able to withstand dirt and snow /ice – melt chemicals that may be used in the area.
All artists who wish to apply for public art opportunities at Denver International Airport must submit a portfolio for inclusion in the DIA South Terminal Redevelopment (STRP) Artist Registry.
