Janes’ Walk Vancouver is less than a month away! The organizers are delighted to have a number of people interested in leading a walk and helping out, and now is the time to get the walk details finalized and posted on the website.

Orientation Session

There will be an orientation session for Walk Leaders and Volunteers (and anybody else interested in learning more about Jane’s Walk). Here are the details:

Monday April 14
5:30-6:30
Terry Salman Branch (VPL) @ Hillcrest Community Centre
4575 Clancy Loranger Way (map)

At this orientation, the organizers will go over tips for walks and volunteer opportunities, answer any questions you might have. This is an opportunity to connect with other walk leaders, and is open to anyone thinking about getting involved to attend.
Please RSVP to jen@jenharvey.org

Add Your Walk

A reminder to anyone thinking of doing a walk to please add walk details to the Jane’s Walk website. You are encouraged to publish walk details as soon as possible so that your walk can be promoted.
The website has been updated this year, which means that all walks will have to be in put by walk leaders.  Here’s how:
  1. Go to www.Janeswalk.org
  2. Join or log-in
  3. Click on “Create a new walk in Vancouver” and enter walk details.
  4. You can “save your walk and return later” to add details later – this will let organizers know that you’re planning a walk.
  5. Once all details are entered, select “publish” and the walk will be public on the website.
If you need any assistance, please let Jen know at jen@jenharvey.org.
