Vancouver Historical Society’s Christmas book sale

Please join us on Thursday, November 27 for the Vancouver Historical Society’s Christmas book sale and our meeting with featured speaker Jean Barman, one of B.C.’s best known historians.

Jean will be signing and selling copies of her latest book: French Canadians, Furs and Indigenous Women in the Making of the Pacific Northwest, and she will be joined by VHS member authors, Aaron Chapman, Cynthia and Charles Hou, Michael Kluckner, Eve Lazarus, Bruce MacDonald, Jo Pleshakov, Lisa Smith and Jason Vanderhill with copies of their books on hand (cash sales only).

Meetings are free, open to the public and are held at the Museum of Vancouver. The book sale will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and our speaker at 7:30 p.m. For more information see the Vancouver Historical Society.
