Tim Kreider at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/11\/18\/opinion\/sunday\/the-quiet-ones.html?ref=todayspaper&amp;_r=1&amp;\">New York Times<\/a> writes about how hard it can be for those who love the sound of silence.
