The first of the public meetings took place last night, with six more to follow <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/BoundaryReview\/index.html#schedule\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">across the different HRM districts through March 10th<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\">. Discussion topics include\u00a0the size of electoral districts, the role of district councillors, and the decision-making\u00a0power and size of Community Councils and Regional Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The public meetings are one aspect of the larger review, which also includes an online <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/BoundaryReview\/index.html#pres\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">presentation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\">, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/24.224.135.213\/Survey\/intweb.dll?project=1359&amp;imode=2\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">survey<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\">,\u00a0and the opportunity to make written submissions by March 26th.
