It&#8217;s part of the legacy of the Mile End Exhibition Grounds, the site of several major industrial and agricultural exhibitions in the nineteenth century. When they were subdivided &#8212; annexed &#8212; in the 1890s, they formed a large chunk of today&#8217;s Mile End.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow evening, Mile End Memories will offer a bilingual presentation on the history of the exhibition grounds by Susan Bronson, an architect and professor. It will take place at 6pm at the Mile End Library.
