The event aims to challenge Vancouverites to make better  use of the city&#8217;s laneways.<\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"so\" src=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/media\/identity\/sidebar-head-ottawa.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"44\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a little piece of<a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/ottawa\/2011\/07\/25\/car-shares-compared\/\"> car share geekery<\/a> Spacing compares the design details of two leading car share organizations in Toronto and Ottawa.<\/p>\n<p>Media organizations often set up shop is busy urban areas only to  fail to engage with the street beyond using its activity as a backdrop.  Evan Thornton uses the Winnipeg Free Press <a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/ottawa\/2011\/07\/27\/is-ottawa-ready-for-a-news-cafe\/\">News Cafe<\/a> as an example of the kind of media hub that should be tried in a city like Ottawa.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"sa\" src=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/media\/identity\/sidebar-head-atlantic.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"44\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sean Gillis engages readers on an important question of <a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/atlantic\/2011\/07\/28\/urban-density-is-what-you-see-what-you-get\/\">how we think about density<\/a>.
