Initially, it was only a faint sound  barely within earshot. Then  suddenly she was face-to-face with the <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.ca\/maps?oe=utf-8&amp;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;um=1&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;q=st+mary+le+bow&amp;fb=1&amp;gl=ca&amp;hq=st+mary+le+bow&amp;cid=0,0,2320973516630022111&amp;ei=4apRTJnSOMH48Ab104nmBA&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=local_result&amp;ct=image&amp;resnum=2&amp;ved=0CCoQnwIwAQ\">St Mary-le-Bow Church<\/a> and consumed by the ringing of its famous bells.
