In its place is planned an 8 lane boulevard that should see traffic within 4 years. In an other Gardiner related story, the <a href=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/wire\/2008\/05\/29\/breaking-news-front-street-extension-officially-cancelled\/\">Front Street Extension <\/a>has been now cancelled due to a redistribution of funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/wire\/2008\/05\/29\/mr-gorbachev-tear-down-this-food-wall\/\">Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this (food) wall!<\/a><\/strong> : This story follows the ongoing hickups concerning food vending on the streets of Toronto. Spacing contributors find themselves agreeing with the most unlikely characters in what should have been a straightforward issue (including tantalizing\u00a0not-only-sausage regulation, permit issuing and cart design).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/wire\/2008\/06\/01\/ruins-along-the-bluffs\/\">Ruins along the Scarborough Bluffs<\/a><\/strong> : Shawn Micallef spent Sunday walking the Scarborough Bluffs or what appears to him as the most &#8220;remote part of Toronto&#8221;. He stumbled upon a rare find: public works ruins.\u00a0The photos are quite stunning even for somebody who has lived in Toronto.
