Ever wondered what the personification of your neighbourhood might be like? Maybe it’s an old woman who watches her garden grow, or perhaps the crazy uncle who drinks too much at family gatherings.<\/p>\n

In this Boston Globe article<\/a>, the squares of Boston are imagined as fiction. Kendall Square is personified as a futuristic place where machines have taken over. Washington Square \u2014 the fake novel \u2014 is set in 1977 where a family owned business must fight for survival when a cheaper bagel company moves into the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
