The photo shows a clear picture of Elgin Street crossing Sparks Street, where typical 1930&#8217;s streetcars are a popular mode of transportation.<\/p>\n<p>The city is an evolving organism, growing and changing right alongside our fast-paced, technology-driven world. But have you ever wondered how certain world altering technologies, such as the streetcar, and ultimately the automobile, have changed the landscape of our cities?\u00a0How will the next 80 years of technology influence our urban design? And with technology changing so quickly, can we even predict how our city will change over the next 10 or 20 years?<\/p>\n<p>Can we dare hope for an even greater pedestrianization of the city?
