We are a growing city. As we fill in and build upwards, intensification\u00a0<\/span>brings up intense feelings and diverse perspectives. It reminds us that the\u00a0<\/span>city is a collective project.<\/span>

Beyond addressing the housing needs of a growing population, we face the\u00a0<\/span>design challenges of how to move through the city, and how to create\u00a0<\/span>opportunities for social connections in and across our neighbourhoods.<\/span>

OAW \u201914 explores the impacts of growth and asks us to consider how we\u00a0<\/span>manage intensification and continue to make Ottawa a more livable place.<\/span><\/p>\n

We week includes\u00a0building and neighbourhood tours, workshops, exhibits, and panels,\u00a0in addition to multiple partnered events, listed below.
