The above video looks like it could <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biketoworkottawa.com\/en\/\">be the first in an EnviroCentre series<\/a> profiling Ottawa bike commuters.<\/p>\n<p>We can&#8217;t help but think that a robust and City-partnered BIXI system  <a href=\"http:\/\/communities.canada.com\/ottawacitizen\/blogs\/greaterottawa\/archive\/2011\/05\/10\/on-bixi-economics.aspx\">would have been the perfect program<\/a> for the EnviroCentre to promote with this campaign, but once again it looks like we&#8217;ll have to wait for another year for the City to partner with the NCC on bike-share.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it&#8217;s a crisply-shot and well-produced video, with some useful stats along the way. Once the NCC <em>does<\/em> settle on the ten locations for <a href=\"https:\/\/capital.bixi.com\/\">Capital BIXI,<\/a> they could do a lot worse than shooting their own video, introducing Ottawans to the system, and its stations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>May is Bike to Work month and the EnviroCentre at City Hall has organized a campaign to promote it.
