Tree-lined sidewalks? Brightly coloured homes? <a href=\"http:\/\/openplans.org\/initiatives\/civic-works\/\">OpenPlans<\/a> is trying to crowd source the answer to this age old question. Their platform, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautiful.st\/#\">Beautiful Streets<\/a>, uses Google Street View to provide users with images of two randomly selected streets in Philadelphia. Users are asked to select the image they find most appealing.
