Yesterday the organization <a href=\"http:\/\/www.towaterfront.ca\/dynamic.php?first=43fa75b221b08&amp;second=43fa7f3cddad8&amp;third=45abd9e029036&amp;fourth=45abfbb23efc1\">announced<\/a> that it is accepting submissions from all Torontonians detailing their vision for the Lower Donlands. Following on the heels of an announcement for a <a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/toronto\/?p=1445\">design competition<\/a> for the area, this latest call challenges the average citizen to come up with a new design for the derelict lands, including the Don River Mouth. From the press release:<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<blockquote><p>Submissions must be no more than one 8.5\u00e2\u20ac\u009d x 11\u00e2\u20ac\u009d double-sided page including any illustrations and can contain both black and white and colour imagery.  Submissions are due no later than February 2, 2007 by email: <a href=\"mailto:lowerdon@towaterfront.ca\">lowerdon@towaterfront.ca<\/a>, by fax 416-214-4591, by mail or delivered in person: Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation, 20 Bay Street, Suite 1310, Toronto, ON, M5J 2N8.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"left\">If the amount of interest in the TTC&#8217;s call for help is any indication, there should be some interesting submissions from Toronto&#8217;s creative masses.
