In the wake of the publication of Toronto’s Clean Air Plan<\/a>, the city is holding a public consultation on the plan and on clean air issues. Here’s the information from the City:<\/p>\n

Join with Mayor Miller to help create the City of Toronto’s Climate Change and Clean Air Action Plan.<\/p>\n

Climate Change Action Forum

\nForum: 1- 4:30 pm<\/p>\n

– Learn about the environmental issues, challenges and opportunities in the City of Toronto
\n– Provide feedback on the City’s 27 proposed actions to reduce our greenhouse gas and smog emissions such as:
\n. retrofit 50% of single family homes and small businesses by 2020
\n. reduce personal use of small engines such as leaf blowers and gas mowers
\n. expand and extend programs that support renewable energy
\n– Tell us what you can do to make a difference<\/p>\n
