To celebrate, the bike-friendly, fair-trade baristas and bean roasters of  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alternativegrounds.com\/show.php\">Alternative Grounds<\/a> (at 333 Roncesvalles) are offering cyclists free coffee and homemade muffins. I&#8217;ll be there from 8 until 9: 30 a.m this Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to Rowena Santos from MPP <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheridinovo.ca\/\">Cheri DiNovo&#8217;s<\/a> office for all her help in organizing this event. Rowena and I met on a BikeFriday ride last October. You can see my Spacing Votes post about that BikeFriday <a href=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/votes\/?p=106\">here<\/a>. And, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bikingtoronto.com\/2006\/08\/introducing-bikefriday.html\">here<\/a> is the very first official announcement for BikeFriday.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks also to Alex and Stacy of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/bug\/index.htm\">City of Toronto&#8217;s BUG<\/a> program for supplying additional promotional bike literature.<\/p>\n<p>All the other BikeFriday routes are posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bikingtoronto.com\/bikefriday\/\">here<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/bikingtoronto.com\/\">BikingToronto<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibiketo.ca\/bikefriday\">here<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibiketo.ca\/\">I Bike TO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mississaugacycling.ca\/\">City of Mississauga<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mississauganews.com\/article\/4287\">announced<\/a> that it officially supports BikeFriday. A large group of cyclists rode to a free pancake breakfast served by politicians at Mississauga Civic Centre. Mississauga rocks!<\/p>\n<p>Oh and &#8230;don&#8217;t forget, Critical Mass.
