The exhibit will take place at The Gladstone Hotel beginning early  September and is being held in conjunction with the international <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/walk21\/\">Walk21 conference<\/a> that the City is hosting in early October.<\/p>\n<p><em>Walking Life<\/em> is looking for submissions by artists, designers and members of the community. We are also looking for volunteers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*who can enter*<\/span><br \/>\nArtists, designers, bakers, woodworkers, transit operators, moms, dads,  youths, walking enthusiasts&#8230; walking life is open to everyone!<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, we will not be able to pay artist&#8217;s fees for works  exhibited.  An honorarium may be available.<br \/>\n<br style=\"font-weight: bold\" \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*what can be entered*<\/span><br \/>\nWhile the space available is primarily for wall-hung pieces, we will  consider works in all types of media.  We encourage all artists to  discuss their concepts with us via email (<a class=\"moz-txt-link-abbreviated\" href=\"mailto:walkinglifeexhibit@gmail.com\">walkinglifeexhibit@gmail.com<\/a>)  in addition to submitting a proposal.
