\"Walking<\/p>\n

In October last year, Toronto hosted the major international conference about walking, Walk21<\/a>. Experts from around the world, including Toronto, spoke on a remarkable range of issues. Unfortunately, as a largely professional conference, the entry fee was extremely expensive, so few citizens of Toronto were able to participate.<\/p>\n

To enable any Torontonian with an interest in walking to experience some of the insights of the conference, the City of Toronto, in partnership with TCAT and Spacing<\/em>, has organized a “Walk21 Toronto Community Conference<\/strong>.” Local experts who presented at the Walk21 conference are going to present their material again to the public, for free, at an open conference at Metro Hall on March 1.<\/p>\n

We’d like to invite anyone who is interested in walking in any shape or form to join us on March 1 for what promises to be an enlightening day. Here are the details:<\/p>\n
