This was not the first time she has seen shoes dangling from power lines in the city.  In her post, <a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/montreal\/2008\/06\/26\/shoes-in-the-sky\/\">Shoes in the Sky<\/a>, Julie looks for an answer to the age-old question, what are those shoes doing up there?<\/p>\n<p>&bull; Since the beginning of the year Spacing Montr&eacute;al  has posted a series of articles (<a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/montreal\/2008\/02\/13\/seasonal-pedestrianization-of-the-gay-village\/\">1<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/montreal\/2008\/02\/20\/sammy-forcillo-dead-set-against-pedestrianization\/\">2<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/montreal\/2008\/03\/06\/the-pedestrianization-of-sainte-catherine\/\">3<\/a>) on the proposed summertime pedestrianization of Montr&eacute;al&#8217;s Gay Village on la rue Ste-Catherine. As a follow-up, C&eacute;dric Sam looks at how the summertime pedestrianization <a href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/montreal\/2008\/06\/24\/la-rue-ste-catherine-pietonniere-de-berri-a-papineau\/\">has begun between Berri and Papineau<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&bull;    Montr&eacute;al is soon to be home to Canada&#8217;s first Waldorf=Astoria Hotel &amp; Residence, adding to a series of other luxury hotels that have opened in Montr&eacute;al since the 1990s.
