The new controls the City may receive could help Toronto raise the quality of design, architecture, and sustainability in development projects.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Clair Right-Of-Way is back in the news, this time with the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/NASApp\/cs\/ContentServer?pagename=thestar\/Layout\/Article_Type1&#038;c=Article&#038;cid=1134427836300&#038;call_pageid=968350130169&#038;col=969483202845\"> rising costs of the the dedicated streetcar line<\/a>. What should be of note to SpacingWire readers is the legal costs towards fighting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.saveourstclair.ca\/index.html\">Save Our St. Clair<\/a> group&#8217;s legal challenges: $2.7 million. To date, SOS has screwed up traffic along St. Clair until the spring by delaying construction, stopped the project that was backed by a majority of the communities along St. Clair, and now they are helping waste taxpayers&#8217; money.
