It was the first time I had traveled along the waterfront by streetcar in a while, and it gave me an opportunity to take in some of the work undertaken by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waterfrontoronto.ca\/index.php?home=true\" target=\"_blank\">Waterfront Toronto<\/a>\u00a0over the last few years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">With the\u00a0Spadina wavedeck\u00a0and HTO park complete and open, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waterfrontoronto.ca\/dynamic.php?first=43fa75b221b08&amp;second=4637868526923&amp;third=442c38f26aee1&amp;fourth=4713c6425c484\" target=\"_blank\">two more wavedecks<\/a>\u00a0under construction and scheduled for completion this year, \u00a0there is a palpable sense of change on the waterfront.\u00a0The process has had its hiccups &#8211; and no doubt there will be many more &#8211; but it is exciting to see some of the renderings that have been used so much in promotional material finally becoming a reality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The above video &#8211; posted to YouTube by Waterfront Toronto &#8211; features a few more such renderings for another part of the waterfront: the Lower Donlands.
