A series of 10 short videos will be released on Spacing Toronto from Sept. 15-19, highlighting 10 No Brainers contributed by a diverse cast of Torontonians. The project will wrap up with a\u00a0free Pop-Up Event where City Council candidates can pitch which No Brainer they\u2019d champion at City Hall and the public can join in the conversation: <a title=\"East End Pop Up\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.ca\/e\/10-no-brainers-pop-up-event-gerrard-east-tickets-13099457831\" target=\"_blank\">October 9\u00a0in the East End<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Food trucks have been a hot topic in Toronto over the past year, with the introduction of a new <a title=\"Mobile Food Vending Permit\" href=\"http:\/\/www1.toronto.ca\/wps\/portal\/contentonly?vgnextoid=0dbeba45597d5410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD&amp;vgnextchannel=7d931bbdf1595410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD\" target=\"_blank\">Mobile Food\u00a0Vending\u00a0Permit<\/a> and the high prices and tight restrictions that come along with it.<\/p>\n<p>Zane Caplansky, owner of <a title=\"Caplansky's Deli\" href=\"http:\/\/www.caplanskys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Caplansky&#8217;s Deli<\/a> and Toronto&#8217;s first food truck, <a title=\"Thunderin' Thelma\" href=\"http:\/\/www.caplanskys.com\/thunderin-thelma\" target=\"_blank\">Thunderin&#8217; Thelma<\/a>, proposes his No Brainer to open Toronto&#8217;s core to food trucks.
