The construction on the St. Clair streetcar right-of-way is progressing nicely, with nice new platform shelters with stops printed in large traditional TTC &#8220;subway&#8221; font. But here, at Wychwood Avenue, someone gave the stop the wrong name\u00a0&#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=d&amp;source=s_d&amp;saddr=oakwood+and+st.+clair+ave,+toronto&amp;daddr=wychwood+and+st.+clair&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;mra=cc&amp;dirflg=w&amp;sll=43.680845,-79.42967&amp;sspn=0.007387,0.013797&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=43.680846,-79.4292&amp;spn=0.007387,0.013797&amp;t=h&amp;z=16\">Oakwood is one kilometre and four stops west<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> Anthony Schein, an assistant to local councillor Joe Mihevc, kindly informed us that the sign is not really an error. After reading this post and seeing the sign himself, he contacted the project manager. The Oakwood sign was first to arrive, and is being used as a template for measurement and adjustment.
