The column includes a nod to <em>Spacing<\/em>&#8216;s round-around experience with the TTC: we approaced them with a few ideas in hand (not revealing what they were) and were told by staff that we could not present them with any ideas because the TTC would have to tender a contract for them. We countered &#8220;but you don&#8217;t know what our ideas are so how can you tender a contract?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alice Smith, the TTC&#8217;s marketing manager, says in the Metro column today, &#8220;I don&#8217;t recall speaking to [Spacing] myself, but I&#8217;d be happy to chat with [them] further and explore things.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t expect us to be annoucing anything any time soon, but we are happy to hear\/read those words.
