The first article was about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/ArticleNews\/TPStory\/LAC\/20050730\/CATS30\/TPNational\/Toronto\"><strong>number of stray cats<\/strong><\/a> running around in our alleys. Some say there are 500,000 homeless kitties, while others contest there are only 250,000.  The second article focused on the plans being put forward to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/ArticleNews\/TPStory\/LAC\/20050730\/JARVIS30\/TPNational\/Toronto\"><strong>reclaim the middle lane of Jarvis Street<\/strong><\/a> and turn it into a median. The project would also widen the sidewalks and include other streetscaping niceties.
