That doesn&#8217;t mean, however, that we&#8217;re not still obsessed with bikes and cycling. The Toronto Cyclists&#8217; Union is taking advantage of that leftover biking energy and putting on a one-day jam session about cycling in our city. Open to both Bike Union <a href=\"http:\/\/bikeunion.to\/join\" target=\"_self\">members<\/a> and the public, <a href=\"http:\/\/bikeunion.to\/event\/2009\/07\/24\/bikecamp-09\" target=\"_self\">BikeCamp TO<\/a> is looking to the two-wheeled community for input on plenty of interesting areas.<\/p>\n<p>Suggested topics include updating the Driver&#8217;s Handbook, what the upcoming municipal election means for bikes in Toronto, and (my personal favourite!) bikes and fashion. BikeCamp TO is looking at all aspects of cycling, from the serious (safety outreach and public money) to the sweet. Where else can you talk about bike art and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-laws.gov.on.ca\/html\/statutes\/english\/elaws_statutes_90h08_e.htm#BK340\" target=\"_self\">Highway Traffic Act<\/a>? This isn&#8217;t your granddad&#8217;s conference: the sessions will be discussion-based and driven by participants, and there&#8217;s a BYOB meet-and-greet afterwards.
