The free tour sounds like a good opportunity to learn more about future plans for the area and initiatives that are already underway. Registration is not necessary.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.towaterfront.ca\/dbdocs\/44465f07b3939.pdf\"> TWRC&#8217;s website<\/a>, the open house and bus tour will give citizens the opportunity to learn more about:<br \/>\n&#8211; TWRC&#8217;s Port Lands Implementation Strategy<br \/>\n&#8211; Lake Ontario Park<br \/>\n&#8211; New Outdoor Sports Fields<br \/>\n&#8211; Naturalization of the Mouth of the Don River<br \/>\n&#8211; Leslie, Cherry and Unwin Greening<br \/>\n&#8211; Expo 2015 Bid<br \/>\n&#8211; And many more revitalization activities<\/p>\n<p>Bus tours of the Port Lands will leave every 30 minutes outside the Toronto Hydro Building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DETAILS<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong>When<\/strong>: Saturday, April 29th, 2006 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a short ceremony with Mayor David Miller and Councillor Paula Fletcher at 11:45am<br \/>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: Toronto Hydro Cafeteria, 500 Commissioners Street (Corner of Commissioners and Carlaw), 2nd Floor. Parking is available in the guest lot beside the Toronto Hydro building main entrance.
