Each walk always leave you a little bit smarter about our history and surroundings. All walks are free events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY MAY 13 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cabbagetown South<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>1:30 p.m., starting at the NE corner of Winchester and Parliament Streets and ending at Carlton and Parliament Streets.<\/em> Cabbagetown, originally developed in the late 1800s, is rich in Victorian architecture &#8211; from workmen&#8217;s cottages to villas. This 1\u00bd hour tour explores both the architecture and the stories of the people who have lived here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nature on the Toronto Waterfront<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>10:00 a.m., starting at Little Norway Park, SW corner of Queens Quay West and Bathurst Street and ending at Harbour Square Park, near Bay Street and Queens Quay West.<\/em> More than just condos! This 1\u00bd hour tour explores the pockets of thriving nature hidden all along Toronto&#8217;s central waterfront and how the harbour shoreline has changed through time.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; &#8211;<br \/>\n<strong>SUNDAY MAY 14 <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Kingsway Park<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>1:30 p.m., starting at the Old Mill subway station and ending at Royal York Rd and Tremayne Avenue.<\/em> This 2-hour tour in Etobicoke explores one of the most carefully planned communities in North America. In the face of the Depression, developer R.
