As a part of WADE 2006<\/a>, Montreal artist Hazel Meyer and her project DEERHEADS are coming to Toronto, July 8th & 9th.<\/p>\n

DEERHEADS is a participatory papier-m\u00e0\u00a2ché project. It is a hybrid performance that will introduce dislocated ‘wildlife’ onto the streets of Toronto. DEERHEADS is a renegade parade, a roaming protest, a misfit herd of displaced Don Valley deer, and a thoughtful disruption to the visual landscape of urban life.<\/p>\n

PARTICIPATION IS NEEDED!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project needs the help 16 people (8 each day) willing to wear a papier-m\u00e0\u00a2ché deer head on top of their head for roughly 2 hours as we walk, herd-style through Toronto visiting outdoor wading pools and the different WADE events.<\/p>\n
