The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carfreevancouver.org\/locations\/kitsilano\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kitsilano<\/a> block parties will be held <strong>Saturday, June 16th<\/strong> and<strong> Sunday, June 17th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Car Free Vancouver Day is 100% volunteer organized and run and we still need many day-of volunteers for the major street festivals who can spare even just a few hours to help make this year&#8217;s festivals amazing. You can <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carfreevancouver.org\/get-involved\/\" target=\"_blank\">sign up right now<\/a><\/strong>! We need help with setting up, tearing down, music stages, kid zones, bike valet, collecting donations, manning barricades and more.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s really a ton of fun; you&#8217;ll meet great people and will have an opportunity to consider how Vancouver&#8217;s neighbourhoods can continue to build community and reduce car dependency.
