Highlighting the many land deals that violated several provincial regulations<\/a> under former Chilliwack mayor John Les in the 1990s, prosecutors recently painted a controversial picture of the pro-development culture at Chilliwack city hall during that time.<\/p>\n

Maple Ridge residents are concerned by the number of sex trade workers in the district\u2019s downtown core<\/a> and are calling for a crackdown on prostitution.<\/p>\n

The City of Surrey says it intends to replace the 12 Douglas Firs<\/a> removed from 128 Street near 20 Avenue due to traffic issues with 40 Western Red Cedars.<\/p>\n

Looks like the City of Courtenay is expanding<\/a> by annexing areas to the south and northeast, and a property to the west.<\/p>\n
