Here\u2019s your chance on Sunday, September 23!\u00a0Join the Vancouver Public Space Network for a unique adventure, by walking Main Street\u2014*all* of Main Street\u2014from Crab Park on Burrard Inlet all the way down to the Fraser River.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a guided tour, but just an opportunity to share in the communal experience of a cross-town stroll, down the whole of Vancouver&#8217;s true north-south spine. Admire the diversity of Vancouver&#8217;s beautiful neighbourhoods, from the Downtown Eastside, through Chinatown and Mount Pleasant, all the way down to Riley Park and Sunset. (And cross &#8220;I Walked Across Vancouver&#8221; off from your bucket list!)<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be meeting at the beach in Crab Park (<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.ca\/maps?hl=en&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;q=crab+park&amp;fb=1&amp;gl=ca&amp;hq=crab+park&amp;hnear=0x548673f143a94fb3:0xbb9196ea9b81f38b,Vancouver,+BC&amp;cid=0,0,4764179149546560256&amp;ei=j2hSUM29AufziQL1-YGYCw&amp;sqi=2&amp;ved=0CJsBEPwSMAc\">map<\/a>), with a planned departure of 1pm sharp. Estimated walking time &#8211; about 3 hours. (And yes, there&#8217;ll be chances for coffee and bathroom breaks along the way.) When the walk is over, there is transit nearby to get home, at Main &amp; Marine, or a few minutes walk to Marine Drive Station on the Canada Line.<\/p>\n<p>From water&#8217;s edge to water&#8217;s edge, this will be a fun, relaxed event.
