Simple, fun, and informative, we&#8217;re extremely excited to have Gordon share his insights through <strong>Price Points<\/strong> with our Spacing Vancouver readers.<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p>WHAT&#8217;S THIS ABOUT?<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1403\" href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/vancouver\/2011\/07\/25\/price-points\/emery-barnes-park\/\"><\/a><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1404\" href=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/vancouver\/2011\/07\/25\/price-points\/emery-barnes-park-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1404\" title=\"Emery Barnes Park\" src=\"http:\/\/spacing.ca\/network\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/Emery-Barnes-Park1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spacing.ca\/vancouver\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/Emery-Barnes-Park1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/spacing.ca\/vancouver\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/Emery-Barnes-Park1-600x397.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\" http:\/\/spacingmedia.com\/spacingvancouver\/wp-content\/uploads\/features\/pricepoints-feature-VAN.gif \" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"72\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A scene in one of the City&#8217;s newest parks &#8211; <em>Emery Barnes<\/em>, in the heart of New Yaletown (<a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.ca\/maps?q=emery+barnes+park&amp;hl=en&amp;ll=49.276709,-123.123951&amp;spn=0.021307,0.03931&amp;sll=49.891235,-97.15369&amp;sspn=44.813761,80.507812&amp;z=15\" target=\"_blank\">map here<\/a>) &#8211; and\u00a0the closest Vancouver comes to a Manhattan-like skyline.<\/p>\n<p>The final building on site has\u00a0been demolished, the children&#8217;s play area constructed, the puppy park completed\u00a0&#8211; and a social experiment in\u00a0real\u00a0diversity (economic as well as ethnic) is playing itself out.\u00a0 So far, the doggies, the druggies and the daddies all seem to have found a place in the park, with\u00a0a live-and-let-live ambience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Editor&#8217;s Note: We at Spacing Vancouver are delighted to announce our newest regular column &#8211; Price Points!
