Have you ever wished you could redesign and rebuild part of Vancouver? Now is your chance.\u00a0Upcycled Urbanism is a participatory design project that empowers you to reimagine Vancouver’s public spaces. Design and build prototypes in a team environment using modular blocks of polystyrene containing material salvaged from the construction of the Port Mann Bridge.<\/span><\/span>WORKSHOP: Block Talk: creating spaces that connect people
\n<\/b>
\nPublic space affects how we talk, engage and communicate with each other. Join with the Vancouver Public Space Network, SALA and the Museum of Vancouver to explore how infrastructure in public space can change how we connect with friends and strangers. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with us and your fellow residents to design structures to make our public spaces more communal, connected and interesting. In\u00a0July, we will come together again to build our creation in a large-scale outdoor event!<\/p>\n

No need to have a design background, just bring your creative and curious mind!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
