Rules:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. \u201cDon\u2019t talk about [Pillow] Fight Club!\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. Don\u2019t be in location until the exact minute.<\/li>\n
  3. Hide your pillows.<\/li>\n
  4. Rush in screaming \u201cPILLOW FIIIIIIGHT!!!!!\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. After 15mins of excruciating fun, leave.<\/li>\n
  6. Stay off the road and sidewalk. (don\u2019t make this a police issue)<\/li>\n
  7. Do NOT hit anyone with out a pillow! (this includes but is not limited to people with cameras, bystanders, civic authorities, cars, use common sense!!)<\/li>\n
  8. \u00a0\u201cIf this is your first [time] at [Pillow] Fight Club, you have to fight.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Volunteers requested for clean up; we want to do it again next year.<\/p>\n

    No one knows why or for whom but only that it \u201cjust happens\u201d. The message goes to all the good vibe people you know.<\/p>\n

    Special:<\/strong> Thank you to the hundreds of loyal mobbers out there for keeping this event alive after seven years. This event has gone on well before it became a worldwide movement. The Vancouver community can be proud to be one of the founding voices in the initial push of the International Pillowfight Day. So once again, thank you.<\/p>\n

    Additional things to consider:<\/h3>\n

    1) CLEAN UP \u2013 Please please read.
    \nThe City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Police have had to take a more stern stance on events following the Stanley Cup riots. In an effort to keep this event alive and well for another 7 years we need to show responsibility in reducing our impact to the site.<\/p>\n

    Over the last 8 years we have sadly watched many cities (and even countries) ban flash mobs. In Vancouver, we have a well standing history with the city to allow social events like this to happen, but only if we can stay in control. This means cleaning up after ourselves.
    \n– Put a garbage bag into your back pocket and stay afterwards.
    \n– Gloves and handheld brooms work well for the little bits.
    \n– Stay off the street.
    \n– Leave a space for pedestrians to get by.<\/p>\n

    2) Glasses \u2013 This should go with out saying but in a few other cities last year it was commented on. Take them off if you don\u2019t want them broken.<\/p>\n

    3) Soft pillows.<\/p>\n

    4) Show restraint. We\u2019ve seen more and more children show up at these events. Please consider who you\u2019re facing off against and use common sense.<\/p>\n
