The sprawling property on the west side of <strong>Vancouver<\/strong> includes a mix of trees, historic buildings, a military base and childcare facility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gibsons<\/strong>\u2019 <a title=\"Town launching OCP update\" href=\"http:\/\/www.coastreporter.net\/article\/20130816\/SECHELT0101\/308169980\/-1\/sechelt0101\/town-launching-ocp-update\">official community plan (OCP) will be getting an overhaul in the coming year<\/a>, but director of planning Andre Boel said the changes are not expected to be major ones. In addition to refining the plan and making it more accessible to the public, the review will look at incorporating legislative changes on greenhouse gases and sea level rise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nanaimo<\/strong>\u2019s <a title=\"Nanaimo governance report a learning tool for all municipalities\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nanaimobulletin.com\/news\/219452641.html\">new governance report should be a lesson for all B.C. municipalities<\/a> grappling with internal conflict, says <strong>Lantzville<\/strong> mayor Jack de Jong.\u00a0The City of Nanaimo recently released the Watson Governance Summary Report, which revealed significant tension, name calling and physical altercations among Nanaimo city council and city staff members have crippled attempts at good governance and could be hurting the city\u2019s ability to make decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"Evergreen Line underway\" href=\"http:\/\/www.burnabynewsleader.com\/news\/219422291.html\">first column for the elevated guideway of the new Evergreen SkyTrain line is in place<\/a> at the corner of Como Lake Avenue and Clarke Road in <strong>Coqutilam<\/strong>.
