\"Spacing<\/a><\/p>\n

The Metro Vancouver Chapter of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC)<\/a> would like to invite you to Art x Architects – archKIDecture<\/a>, an art exhibition and silent auction opening on Thursday, September 17th<\/strong> at the Architecture Gallery of the AIBC. Over 100 works of art have been graciously donated by the Metro Vancouver architecture and design community to be auctioned off with partial proceeds going to Architecture for Kids<\/a>, an Artists for Kids program put on by the Gordon Smith Gallery<\/a> in North Vancouver, with the RAIC Foundation<\/a> generously matching all proceeds.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will run from September 8th to November 5th, featuring\u00a0work from\u00a0Perkins + Will, Stantec, HOK, and IBI Group among many other local architecture offices.\u00a0Complimentary refreshments and a cash bar\u00a0will be available, along with\u00a0live jazz music and a presentation by Architecture for Kids.<\/p>\n

A jury of distinguished professionals will select two juror awards:<\/p>\n

Bruce Grenville<\/strong>, Senior Curator of the Vancouver Art Gallery
\nMauro Vescera<\/strong>, Board Chair of the Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation
\nWayne De Angelis<\/strong>, Immediate Past President of the RAIC.<\/p>\n

The jury will also select a People\u2019s Choice Award | Kids\u2019 Choice Award.<\/p>\n
