Reclaiming those public spaces in an ever expanding city is a needed improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you heard that right &#8211; public space. And I know you\u2019re asking for whom?<\/p>\n<p>Well you and me and Korean pop-stars.<\/p>\n<p>You may have seen the YouTube sensation where the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/V2hlQkVJZhE\">K-Pop group \u2018Twice\u2019<\/a> used the refurbished Alley Oop as one of it\u2019s Vancouver backdrops. When I wrote this intro there were just shy of 76 million views, they surely know <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialmediadaily.com\/youtube\/gain-subscribers\">how to get more subscribers on Youtube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Density is forcing us to find space, but more importantly it\u2019s forcing us to be innovators in the creation of liveable space.<\/p>\n<p>We sat down with <strong>Charles Gauthier<\/strong> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downtownvancouver.net\/\">Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association<\/a> to ask him what was the motivation for this project, why it\u2019s important and what the value is to all of us who call the city home &#8211; not just the businesses he represents.<\/p>\n<p>We also talk to <strong>Alexandra Kenyon<\/strong> of the design firm <a href=\"https:\/\/hcma.ca\/\">HCMA<\/a>, why did they leap at the opportunity to donate their services to this project?
