We are excited to invite you to the 11th Annual School of Community and Regional (SCARP) Student Symposium. The chosen theme this year, [Re]present<\/strong>, is about coming together to reflect on our history, re-examine how we engage in planning practice, and redefine our future. It is about the power of stories and narratives in shaping how we interact with each other and the built environment \u2013 as well as about making room for all voices, bodies, and perspectives in our communities. The symposium will have two keynote speakers and 10 sessions across three breakout periods. <\/p>\n

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS<\/strong>
\nThe keynote speakers this year are Ginger Gosnell-Myers<\/em><\/a> and Jay Pitter<\/em><\/a>. Ginger has been an exceptional voice at the City of Vancouver pushing for reconciliation, and has worked with the Urban Native Youth Association and Assembly of First Nations Youth Council. Jay is an award-nominated author and placemaker whose practice mitigates growing divides in urban centres. We are ecstatic to be hosting such brilliant keynote speakers and cannot wait for our attendees to hear their stories.<\/p>\n
