On Sunday, October 23rd, at 10 am, you are invited to join Heritage Vancouver Society, the Vancouver Heritage Foundation and the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation in a celebration to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Stanley Park Pavilion and the Rock Garden.<\/p>\n

Join us at the Pavilion at 10am for a ceremony at the Rock Garden \u2013 Vancouver’s first public garden \u2013 for the unveiling of the first ever Heritage Foundation’s “Places that Matter” plaque.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, enjoy a Birthday Party with refreshments supplied by the Daniel Group, historical displays and photographs, and tours of the Rock Garden.<\/p>\n

End your morning with a Heritage Vancouver walking tour at 11:30am, “A Century of Park History”, a tour of the Dining Pavilion, the Rock Garden, Malkin Bowl, the Rose Garden and Park Memorials led by President, Donald Luxton. This “by donation tour” is on a first come basis.<\/p>\n
