Artists Andy Chung, Christy Nyiri, Easton West and Anette K. Hansen will produce new works that will be shown in Vancouver and Berlin (January 2012) as well as circulating in OCW Magazine\u2019s November issue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goethe Satellite @ Or Gallery<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><strong>Exhibition by Annika Rixen<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nJanuary 13 \u2013 February 18, 2012 &#8211; The Or Gallery Vancouver, which last year opened Or Gallery Berlin, the first international satellite space operated by a Canadian artist run centre, will produce a solo show by Berlin-based artist Annika Rixen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goethe Satellite @ Instant Coffee<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><strong>Bild N Sound<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nFebruary, 2012 &#8211; Vancouver and Toronto-based collective Instant Coffee, whose widely exhibited work highlights the relationship between form and social interaction, will collaborate with German curator Bernd Milla to produce Bild N Sound. During this live musical event three Canadian musicians or composers will play a live score for the films and videos selected by Milla.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Goethe Satellite Vancouver<\/em> is a two-year initiative of the Goethe-Institut with partner Revised Projects. The goal of the Goethe Satellite is to facilitate unique projects where artists, organizations and collectives have the opportunity to collaborate, perform, and show work that expands current artistic practices.
