The City of Terrace has teamed up with the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine in hopes of recycling glass for local uses<\/a>. The pilot project could start in the spring, if all goes to plan.<\/p>\n

Victoria’s only strip club – Monty’s Exotic Showroom Pub – are numbered<\/a> as Vancouver-based Developer GMC Projects Inc. has set a closing date this summer for their purchase of the Victoria Plaza Hotel, at the corner of Government Street and Pandora Avenue.<\/p>\n

B.C. is set to have another ski resort as the Province approved development of the Jumbo Glacier Alpine Resort<\/a>, a controversial year-round ski resort 55 kilometres west of Invermere.<\/p>\n

Great news for the District of 100 Mile House as the Bridge Creek Trails in <\/a>Centennial Park have been approved for a funding influx of $280,000 for improvements<\/a>, including the waterfalls trail closed since vandals damaged two bridges last fall.<\/p>\n

The Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skate Park Society could be breaking ground as early as this summer after an announcement that they will be the recipients of a $400,000 grant<\/a>.<\/p>\n
